Social media management
Social media for accountants, done for you
An empty LinkedIn page or a Facebook account last updated two years ago makes a practice look closed. We run your social media every month, in your firm's voice, so partners can stop posting at midnight and get back to client work.

Social media for accountants means regularly posting useful, professional content on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Done well, it keeps your firm in front of clients and referrers, shows prospects you are active and knowledgeable, and supports the enquiries that come from referrals and Google.
Why does social media matter for an accounting practice?
Most prospects look you up before they make contact, even when a friend recommended you. If your profiles are empty or out of date, some of them quietly choose another firm.
Regular posts also keep you in mind with the people who refer work to you, such as solicitors, mortgage brokers and existing clients.
What is included in our social media management?
- A monthly content plan. Topics matched to your services, the time of year and the clients you want more of.
- Posts written and designed for you. Short, clear posts in your firm's voice, with images in your brand colours.
- Deadline and Budget reminders. Timely posts on self assessment, VAT and other dates your clients care about, with figures checked against official sources.
- Profile set-up and tidy-up. Complete, consistent profiles that match your website and Google listing.
- Replies flagged to you. We tell you when a comment or message looks like a potential client, so nothing is missed.
- A short monthly summary. What was posted, how people responded and anything that led to an enquiry.
What does a good accountant's post look like?
It answers a question a client actually has, in plain English, in under a minute. Examples include what changes for landlords this tax year, the three records a new limited company must keep, or a reminder that the 31 January deadline is close.
It never promises a tax outcome, and it never sounds like a sales pitch.
How does social media fit with your other marketing?
It works best alongside a strong website and search. Posts point people to your website, and your guides from SEO work give us useful material to share. Social media management is included in the Marketing Department package.
Social media questions
Will social media bring us new clients on its own?
Rarely on its own, and we would not promise that. For accountants, social media mostly builds trust: prospects who were referred or found you on Google check your pages before they call. A steady, professional presence makes that check work in your favour.
Which platforms should an accounting firm use?
LinkedIn for business clients and referrers such as solicitors, brokers and lenders. Facebook and Instagram if you serve sole traders, landlords or local consumers. Most firms do better with two platforms done properly than five done badly.
Do we have to write anything?
No. We plan, write and design the posts. You approve the month in one sitting, and we flag anything that needs a partner to check before it goes out.
Will you post about tax changes?
Yes, where it helps your clients, such as Budget changes or a filing deadline approaching. Every figure is checked against GOV.UK or HMRC before it is published.
